What is Softwashing?
Softwashing is a method of cleaning exterior hard surfaces to eliminate organic growth using cleaning chemicals applied at low pressure rather than potentially damaging high pressure or jet washing. It may be used on both commercial and residential properties because the procedure and principle are the same.
Each cleaning surface will be evaluated individually to identify the amount and kind of biological growth present. The surface will next be cleaned with a customized batch of cleaning solution. This can be sprayed on, or a soft bristles brush can be used to stir the solution into the surface, aiding the cleaning process. This will be left to do its job, which will be to destroy all biological pollutants. If necessary, the surface will be washed with clean water.
